ZX Spectrum screenshots
This is the game's main menu
The action keys can be displayed via the main menu option but they cannot be changed
The high score table comes pre-populated with some very high scores
The start of the game sees Hobbo alive, well, and alone
The character can get lost in the walls of the chamber sometimes. Above is one of the keys needed to unlock the door to this room
Through the door and straight into a demon
Contact with demons & monsters drains energy - thus killing the player's character. The game, as can be seen, is not very sympathetic
A later game. Out of the first cell and into a monster packed room. Luckily by this point the player had worked out which is the FIRE key
The last of this batch of monsters is about to be zapped and the score has increased quite nicely too
There are more monsters but let's just get to the exit. At the end of the level there's no summary of stats such as points scored, demons killed, etc. Nor is there an apparent save point.
This is the start of the second level. Hobbo's energy has not been restored, it stays at the same number as at the last level
As before Hobbo must collect keys in order to escape the first cell. Then he's in a monster packed room
The two purple square things are some kind of gateway from which more monsters keep appearing. They can be destroyed
Are we missing some important screenshots?
