Bubba 'n Stix - the oddball alien zoo pair

The Good
I liked the clear-cut graphics on this, I had an Amiga 1200 which was probably the best Amiga for any game due to its OS (3.x) and due to its gaming ability (and for the price compared to the 4000 it was superb). Anyway, the sounds used are that what you would expect from a game evolved from a cartoon series, or like an Amiga synthesized Mario!

The story line as well wasn't that of Gobliins 2 or Simon the Sorceror but was more than adequate for the game. (See story below).

The Bad
One of the few things that brought this game's score down was the fact of its incompatibility on some Amiga systems, and its rather short game length. The Incompatibility problems, were mainly for Amiga 500 and Amiga 500+ users (I remember several friends complaining about that it didn't work, but maybe they should have invested in a much better system, i.e the 1200 or the 4000).

The Short story length, was perhaps an hour or two short than what i would have expected and what I wanted in a game.

The Bottom Line
Bubba and his sidekick Stix are an interesting pair, Bubba is a happy-go-lucky animal delivery guy for the local Zoo here on Earth . One day while going about his daily routine, Bubba is abducted by an alien that plans on delivering him along with several other aliens in their zoo. On the way back to his home planet, the alien spacecraft loses control and crashes, Bubba, the other aliens and Stix (a sentient twig like alien) are able to escape. Bubba and Stix become friends and start on their journey home, They're now on an alien planet, things are a little bit different than they are on Earth. Take control of Bubba as he wields Stix as various puzzle solving tools (including a weapon), as they try to find a way back home. You'll have to solve mind-boggling puzzles and fight all kinds of wacky aliens if you're planning to return to Earth, so you'll have to have fast reflexes and be able to think fast and sometimes sideways.
