Dynamic lighting from fires, weapons, wrecks, even armor spotlights adds immensely to the graphical appeal.

Not all missions are "kill 'em all!" type missions. Rescue and escort missions, for example, can be challenging.

The bigger they are...well, in case of the mammoth Tanker Bug, the saying doesn't apply. Best to get some distance and feed it some grenades or missiles.
