Dear heavens, what a painful experience!

The Good
Some of the colors are pretty cool. Some of the Ninja's flips are nice to watch....that's about it. I do like the on-screen box that indicates if a weapon is near.

The Bad
Where do I begin? I am recognizing that this is an old game, but geez-loweez....the controls STINK!! If you kick, while holding down the left arrow, when you stop kicking, you stop moving...you have to release the left arrow key, and then press it again to start moving...absolutely pathetic. I just could not play this game for more than about 10 minutes at a time, because the controls are so frustrating. A little more "juice" in the sound department wouldn't have hurt my feelings, either.

The Bottom Line
An ancient side-scroller, that I really wouldn't bother with, except to maybe add to your collection for posterity purposes only.

Wonderful!

The Good
One of my favorite games on the XT. I used to play this thing for hours! It's endlessy enjoyable, not to mention challenging.

The graphics are extremely good and detailed (for the time, and considering it's a 4-colour CGA game). The controls are OK and the animations are relatively smooth. The gameplay is simple fun!

The Bad
The music in the beginning isn't much and the sound effects are horrible. Could've been better.

The Bottom Line
One of the best games you'll ever play on your XT.
