In October 1999, when the Deluxe Edition was discontinued, Apogee released the six extra levels as a free download which is available from the official Apogee/3D Realms website. These levels can be used both with the registered version and the shareware version of Rise of the Triad.
Authorship of the extra levels
Even though the exclusive Deluxe Edition levels are officially referred to as the Lasersoft Shareware Levels, they were all made by Tom Hall.
