In addition to your standard 'conquer the world' game, you have the option to play some scenario games.
Scenarios can have scripted events and encounters. The Magnificent Samurai, for example, plays out more like a role-playing game than a normal Call to Power game.
While not as powerful as in the first game of this series, strategic units like diplomats, spies, and clergy can still be used effectively.
Like it or hate it...as your civilization grows, man-made structures will dominate the once tranquil landscape.
Battles are fought on this close-up screen. There are still no tactical options outside of retreating, but at least pikemen can destory tanks with ease.
