When the game is played for the first time the player is prompted for basic setup information. This is the UK release but other European languages are still available.

Naturally there are mummies to be defeated. This is the basic slave mummy. Later on there are tougher foes such as archer and spear-men mummies in addition to the boss characters

Hitting ESC gives access to this menu. The game saves at certain points automatically as the player progresses but by Quitting the player gets to save their game permanently
