Zone of the Enders

aka: Z.O.E., Z.O.E: Zone of the Enders, ZoE
Moby ID: 3615

Zone of the Enders (or Z.O.E. for short) instantly impresses with its range and depth. Bascially, this game is a mech action game featuring some of the best graphics yet on the PS2. But the developers' have been careful not to put all their eggs in the graphics basket. They've also done a great job with the gameplay which is reminiscent of the Armored Core titles, and the plot line which revolves around the Orbital Frames, an important and deadly 22nd-century war machine. You play the main protagonist, Leo Stenbuck, your raison d'etre being the seeking of vengeance upon Z.O.E., a martian militia group, that devastated your home colony.

Featuring multiple mechs on your screen at any one time, this game is fully interactive, exhilarating and addictive - a great means of testing what the PS2 can do.
