Head Rush
Description official descriptions
Head Rush takes the gameplay and style of the You Don't Know Jack series and creates a teen-angled trivia game with it. The basic format of the game is the same as in the YDKJ, the major difference being a shift from sexual humor to toilet humor and a change in art style to cartoons.

The Good
Berkeley Systems had a good idea to translate the YDKJ style of trivia into a younger format. They did a reasonable translation, keeping the basic format and pacing of the game intact (in fact not much of it is really different at all except superficial things).
The Bad
The humor style between YDKJ and Head Rush is very different. The humor in YDKJ was pretty good. While it was very sexual and pop culture oriented, it didn't insult the intelligence of its players that much (but when it did it was a joke). Head Rush on the other hand assumes that teenagers have the maturity and intelligence of someone in Kindergarten. The humor takes a big shift towards the low-brow toilet end of the humor spectrum, assuming that teens think that gross-out humor is the name of the game. The interstitial cartoons take the same angle. Rather than be funny or nasty, they're just plain insulting to watch.
The Bottom Line
Teens can probably play the YDKJ series without ruining any of their sensibilities. Then, um, I guess Kindergarteners can play Head Rush...but wait...that might actually ruin their sensibilities...then, um, I guess no one should bother playing Head Rush...

Trivia
Extras
Head Rush came with a set of three stickers to place on your Q, P, and B keys (the keys used to buzz in and answer a question). What was on the stickers? The letters Q, P, and B of course.
