Apparently the damage from Albus' attack has made Shanoa forget all her advanced skills.

Entering the monastery - note the gorgeous graphics - unfortunately - no scrolling on these screens.

Found the first support glyph - this one allows Shanoa to rubber band around special markers allowing for some cool aerial maneuvers.

Order of Ecclesia features some of the most beautiful backgrounds since Symphony of the Night.

Fighting the first boss. Don't be deceived by its ease - all subsequent bosses in the game are absolute bastards.

Caught up with Albus, who mocks me, and in the best villain tradition promptly escapes.

The overworld map. New locations appear as you make your way through the game. I imagine this map will get rather crowded by the end.

You get this small village as your base of operations. Eventually you will locate and rescue more and more of its citizens, who will promptly set up shops and start charging you money...

Stay away from those flying red monsters - once caught by one, all you can do is helplessly watch as your health is rapidly drained with not a thing you can do about it.

Ohh, you will see this screen quite a bit!
