In Street Sports Basketball, you'll shoot hoops in dingy alleys. Playgrounds. Parking lots. Occasionally, even the suburbs (have fun dribbling on the lawn).

You'll pick your three-person team from the 10 toughest players in the neighborhood. There's hot shooters and slow dribblers. Team players and show-offs. There's guys who can shoot the eye out of a needle at 20 feet. And guys who couldn't sink one if they were sitting on the backboard. Pass on the run. Get that big man on the inside. Let Joey pop 'em from the corners. This is real street strategy. Take a hook shot. A tip-in. Bounce the ball off the chainlink fence, then go for the basket. Or power through a slam dunk.

But don't dribble in the oil slick. And for heavens sake, watch out for windows.

It's not like any basketball game you've ever played on a computer. But just like every basketball game you've ever played for real.

Not to mention 16 neighborhood players. Each with their own personalities and skills in pitching, hitting and fielding. With the right combination, you could be the champs. With the wrong combination, the chumps.

You'll pick the place. The team. The positions. The strategy. And then, you'll be right in the middle of it all. With a split-screen view from above and up close.

It won't be easy. But it's right up your alley.

Jump Ball!

It's play-off time in a back alley off Oak Street. Vic and Bojo face-off on asphalt. They leap... long arms stretch... the higher hand smacks the ball to Magic... then a furious fast break down the alley... Vic gets caught in the hustle and does hard time on concrete... defense slacks as Kevin slips on a slimy oil patch... Brad spots an opening to the basket and slams it through. Check out those high fives!

Create a team to terrorize the neighborhood. There are hot shooters and slow dribblers, team players and show offs. Guys that can pass on the run and find that big man inside. There've never been this many obstacles to proving you're the best. Then again, Street Sports Basketball isn't like any basketball game you've ever played on a computer.

Wirf Deine Pässe aus vollen Lauf, ziel auf de Korb aus den entlegendsten Ecken, zeig, ob Du den „Hook-Shot“ beherrscht… - vor allem bring den Ball in den Korb! Aber Vorsicht, nicht durch die Ölpfützen dribbeln und paß um Gotteswillen auf die Fensterscheiben auf!
