Fuel appears in the book 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die by General Editor Tony Mott.

FUEL

The game concept reminds of the cancelled Xbox title FUEL (previously Everglide Rush) the studio Firetoad Software had been working on for five years, until it was eventually canned in early 2007. Firetoad noticed some similarities (next to the title) and merely asked to be included in the credits as inspiration.
