Yogurt Commercial II

The readme enclosed with Yogurt Commercial II describes one of the game's many props, Ron Popeil's Death Ray Lamp, as "Given a .992 death rating by State Og! Put it down and carnage is sure to ensue." State Og was a series of articles published by humor site Something Awful between 2000 and 2005 describing the various exploits of a fictional nation, State Og. In its State Og Report of June 15, 2000 an article was featured entitled "The Things in Your House That May Kill You", which listed a series of household objects and their associated "Death Rating." An object's rating dictated their likelihood of causing a user's untimely demise. The list featured a number of innocuous items, such as a bowl of oranges (.001), as well as the Death Ray Lamp mentioned by the readme. Many of the other props available in the game are also on the list, such as the Cursed Handkerchief (.017), Evil Ventriloquist Dummy (.263), and the VX Nerve Gas Respirator (.952).
