Windows screenshots
The game's title screen.
After the title screen the player is presented with a choice of languages.
The main menu. There are lots of different options to choose from
This is the 'Quick Game' configuration menu. It allows the player to select the target score, whether they must start on a double, and the number of games / legs in a match
The player selection screen. In career mode the player can create their own avatar but for the quick match they play as one of the supplied professionals.
There are three venues available in the Quick Game, this one in the UK, a casino on the Las Vegas strip, and a club in Rotterdam
When all choices have been made the players take to the arena. Each payer has their own entrance music. This match is being played in a Las Vegas casino.
The start of the game. There are two modes of play. This is the amateur mode. The difference between this and the professional ode is the power meter in the lower left.
During the match the camera zooms in and out just as it would for a televised event.
At the end of each leg of the match the game shows an action slow motion replay of the last dart as it leaves the players hand and flies to its target
The game shows long shots of players retrieving their darts which adds to the realism and atmosphere.
The winner's celebrations
At the end of the match the player's stats are displayed
This is not just a serious tournament simulation, there are lots of pub games too
The configuration screen for a party game differs from the Quick Match setup screen
Career Mode starts with creating a new player via this menu. There's not a lot of scope here really, the style and colour of the shirt can be changed but not the player's face, shape etc
Entering a name is a bit cumbersome and confusing. Capital letters is the default case and only eight letters are allowed
Career Mode starts here with zero points. Now it's on with the first / next game.
The computer chooses the opponents in career mode
Play in career mode is the same as it is in Quick Match mode. This is a professional match so thee's no power meter in the lower left corner.
Tournaments can take a while to play so having a pause function is very handy.
There is a trophy screen in career mode but it's locked until the player actually wins something
The main menu in Italian. While the menus and game text changes with the selected language the commentary is still in English
