Zoo World

In Zoo World players manage a zoo. The game is played on Facebook and is a "social game".

Players start with an empty plot of land. It's up to them to buy animals and habitats and take care of them. There's many different animals to buy and breed. Players also have to dress up the park by placing food stands, trees and functional buildings like an animal hospital.

The player receives Zoo Dollars for visitors that visit the park. This money can be invested into animals, decorations and buildings.

Unlike most Facebook social games the game doesn't use "Experience". Instead to gain additional level the player must complete specific achievements. Each level has a set of achievements that have to be met to continue to the next level.

Individual animals do have experience points. The player can give treats to the animals which earns the animals additional points. Different treats give different amounts of experience points, but also take longer to consume. Animals earn more experience points per progressed time with short durations but they require more frequent player interaction since only one treat can be given per animal at a time.

Players can visit other players to earn Zoo Dollars. At other zoos players can also leave notes and send messages to other players.

There's a daily quiz in which more rewards can be earned. It's an animal related multiple choice quiz.

Players can race their animals to unlock new animals. The more friends join in to aid on the race, the more chances the player has of winning. Racing is accompanied with a simple minigame where the animal flies through the sky and has to avoid zepelins and pop ballons to earn coins.

Players can buy Wildlife Funds with real money to buy exclusive items.
