Gabriel Knight é um Schattenjäger,

termo alemão cuja tradução literal é

"Caçador de Sombras". Trata-se de

uma atribuição hereditária que poderia ser

nossos dias. Seu tio-avô, Wolfgabg Ritter,

Passou-lhe o título depois de se sacrificar para

salvar o talismã da família, que agora Gabriel

usa o tempo todo.

Grace Nakimura estava fazendo doutorado em

uma vaga na livraria St. George's Rare Books,

cujo proprietário era o misterioso escritor
