Ball Breaker
Description
Ball Breaker is Breakout variant. The player controls a paddle which is fixed on the right side of the screen and is only able to move vertically. With this paddle, a ball is both bounced into the playfield and prevented from falling out of the screen. The goal is to vaporize all blocks on the playfield by hitting them with the ball. A limited amount of missiles can be used to destroy blocks or aliens directly. The latter appear on higher levels and should not be touched with the paddle.
The speciality of this variant is the use of an isometric perspective. While the ball and paddle itself do not leave the lower plane, the blocks are stacked up. The higher blocks fall down when the blocks below them are gone.

Trivia
Unreleased C64 version
The screenshots on the inlay are for a Commodore 64 version which appears not to have been released, and any developers or idea of how far it progressed is unknown. C64 expert Frank Gasking suggests that the colours look wrong for the C64 and appear more 16-bit in style (Amiga or ST?) . Possibly they were mockups.
