Silent Hill: Downpour

The Good
- Compelling characters, good story which takes SH2 as a landmark. - Atmospheric and well-paced levels, semi-open world (town) with interesting side-quests. Long corridors with dozens of closed doors from previous games are finally gone. - Soundtrack is very different from previous installments, but it's still better than some of the Yamaoka's stuff.

The Bad
- The whole third act in prison. - Combat system could be more developed (although i suspect it's an intentional choice). - Enemies design is very unimaginative.

The Bottom Line
I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews. In many ways, this is a much better game than, dare i say, any installment since SH2 (with a possible exception of Shattered Memories).
