**BIOFORGE’

An ORIGIN Interactive Movie’**

Stripped of memory, artificially enhanced with both human and alien technology, you are intended to be the perfect untraceable assassin for the scheming Mondite's master-stroke.

But it's more than a science-fiction computer game - it's an ORIGIN Interactive Movie. We've made a movie for you to star in, not just another game to play. Your interaction advances the story as you take your animated 3-D synthetic "actor" through a dramatic action-packed adventure.

  • Employs the camera and editing techniques found in your favorite movies - from varied camera angles to rapid-fire cut sequences, long shots and closeups for emotional impact.

  • Eliminates the artificial breaks between interactive and viewed portions of the game - the story is melded into a single cinematic experience.

  • Directs the pacing and tempo so that the plot flows swiftly but smoothly, fueled by your decisions.

**BioForge

Product Description BioForge is about a nightmare made real. You don't know where you are, or who is in control, even the most essential concepts of identity have been stripped from your mind. Only the realization that something is not as it should be makes you take control of your destiny to rise, seek answers and fend for yourself in an insane and nebulous reality. Make your way through different indoor and outdoor environments, and get swept into a breath-taking drama upon which the fate of the universe depends.

When you break free of your security cell, you enter a laboratory set on the ruins of an ancient and long-dead alien civilization. The work of research archaeologists has been interrupted by the machinations of the scheming scientist who plans to use the advanced alien technology for his own ends. Now that you have escaped, the whole of his forces are leagued against you, and the situation accelerates when reinforcements arrive. There is a hostile alien on the prowl, a time-critical emergency situation to bring under control, and a tantalizing entrance to the alien civilization to investigate. Fighting your way through superior forces vies with the need to discover alternative ways of manipulating yourself and others in this exciting environment.

As game programming becomes more like commercial movie production, ORIGIN needs compelling, realistic characters that evoke deeper reactions from game players. The response to this need is the three-dimensional figures conceived and developed recently at ORIGIN. The System for Animating Lifelike Synthetic Actors (S.A.L.S.A.) was created to design figures that are more than just two-dimensional pictures. The use of camera shots in fully rendered sets, along with detailed realism, creates a movie-like feel which sets BioForge ahead of all other role-playing games in the market.
