Psionics
Description
After a long trip you've finally arrived at the Nexus space lab, where curious scientists were to examine your uncanny psychic potential, a talent even you couldn't comprehend. Little did you know, getting ready for a rest, that you'll be awoken by screams, lights going out, and your examiner being eaten alive by huge rabid rats!
Psionics is a simple sci-fi dungeon crawler in which the player must escape from a maze-like space station. Apart from finding a couple of items that will help you in the way, you'll be often facing mutated animals, which you may defeat not only using weapons, but also your psionic powers.

Nice ambience but lacks details.
The Good
The overall ambience works well. You, a psychic, are taken to a space station to be studied. As soon as you get there, things go south and you're on your own. The gameplay is very simple, classic RPG/maze with random encounters, but it's enough to make it an enjoyable experience. You can pick your gender, character picture, and roll for stats, but not much is explained about them.
The Bad
The sparse story works on one hand, contributing to the mystery and leaving you lost, but on the other hand, leaves much untold and unexplored. The rooms all look the same, and could've benefited from a few more details, especially because you will get lost without a map. Gameplay is very unforgiving in case you didn't roll good enough stats.
The Bottom Line
A simple but entertaining old school sci-fi RPG worth a couple of hours of gameplay, if the ambiance gets you right in the beginning.
