The main game screen. At the start of each year the player decides what resources are required and enters a number for each icon in order. Here 40 more troops are to be trained.

During the year Athens will be attacked by either on land or from the sea, or both. In each event the player chooses whether or not to fight before selecting the size of their defending army

The two navies line up for battle. The army screen is the same but with different icons. Gradually the two forces close on each other

The battle is under way. Athens has the larger force but is still defeated.

After the battle Athens' supplied are adjusted. because Athens lost the enemy takes gold and ships. Had Athens won she'd have gained gold, ships and allies
