Open beta

The game was initially released on 17th April 2001 for free as an open beta. This lasted until May 2002 and from then on players were required to pay a monthly subscription to open up the full game and play without restrictions.

Shutdown

Sony took the game off-line and shut down game's servers March 29, 2012.
