Tribute to a Vault Hunter

During the development of the game, the developers received an email from a Borderlands player requesting that they read an eulogy for their friend Michael Mamaril, who passed away at the age of 22 due to cancer, in Claptrap's voice. Not only did the developers do this, they also added a new NPC based on Michael, who spawns randomly throughout the Sanctuary. When you talk to him, he offers you a new weapon, and awards the player with the "Tribute to a Vault Hunter" achievement.
