The game's main menu screen. The background is a harbour city created in level three
This screen menu shows the three kinds of game
This is the list of misions in the campaign mode
This is a screen from the tutorial. The initial dwellings are single occupancy tents as shown here, but give the inhabitants access to a market and a church - see next screen .....
The buildings automatically upgrade when the appropriate facilities are provided. Here a church and a market allow tents to become houses
Buildings are placed on a grid using the same kind of outline method used in many other games. A red grid means the building cannot be placed here, a greed grid means it can.
When a mission is completed this message of congratulation is displayed very briefly.
This is the briefing for mission one in level two.
This is the game's statistics screen. It's also where tax rates are raised or lowered. Tax rates affect the city's population
Clicking on any building brings up its status. This is very useful with houses to see what public buildings need to be built nearby in order that they will be upgraded
Public buildings only become available when the settlement reaches a certain size, so although there's a full list in the menu on the right only Market and Church are available right now
This shows the save game menu screen. The load game screen is identical apart from the word SAVE is replaced by LOAD
This is the menu for the puzzle missions
