The title screen
The game's main menu
The game has a single help screen.
Before the start of each level the player is shown their current score and other game stats. There are two screens of information. This i sthe start of a game so everything reads zero
The start of episode one, mission one, level one
The player starts with a wimpy gun firing single blue bolts of energy. The game has just begun and already there's an in-game message
Accessing the in-game messages via the F1 key
The in-game messages show details of the enemy craft.
An upgrade to the main weapon has been acquired so the top left pane now shows a different picture. The player has also captured an invulnerability power-up as shown in the left hand status bar
Here a secondary weapons power up has been acquired. It exists for a limited period of time and is shown in the third pane on the left.
The explosions are well done. This screen also shows fragments of destroyed craft flying across the screen and an invulnerability power-up
Episode one, mission one, level ten. This is a boss level. This boss has four active sites that must be destroyed and launched attack craft that sheild those sites.
Game Over! The boss got me.
Episode one, mission two, level ten is also a boss level. The two horizontal blue bars in the top left show the status of two of the boss's weapons
The death of an end of level boss is noisy, satisfying, and accompanied by much screen shaking.
The game is available as shareware. Once installed this is the first screen that pops up when the player plays the game.
Enemies will come in various combinations, each more powerful and more challenging to handle than the previous one.
