If you have a shiv, you can save yourself from the clicker, otherwise it's game over once it grabs you.

Joel can sense both humans and infested once they're inside a certain range.

Crafting items can be done anywhere, but it won't pause the game, so don't do it in a dangerous area.

Bloater is tougher to deal with and can be considered somewhat of a boss fight in this game.

Maybe something salvageable can be found on the boat.

There's a lot of useful things to find if you search, but there is a limit to how much you can carry.

Watch out not to run out of air when diving.

Ellie can't swim, so you'll have to find other ways to get her across water.

By collecting pills and medicinal herbs, you can upgrade your character's skills.

Shotgun at close range is a guaranteed winner.

Flamethrower is deadly at close range, but you're pretty much open to anyone carrying a firearm until you reach him.

With infested, you can almost always opt for stealth over action if you wish.
