Frontline Commando 2

Frontline Commando 2 is the sequel to the original Frontline Commando and the third game in the series. Like in the first game the player finds himself betrayed and left for dead but this time he is not all alone as it possible to recruit soldiers that help out on the battlefield. The basic game is very much the same though and the player will find himself jumping between covers while taking out enemy soldiers with a variety of firearms. The addition of team mates is the biggest difference in gameplay from previous games. These assist in taking on and distracting the enemies and can throw grenades and use health packs.

New in Frontline Commando 2 is a PvP mode. In it the player will face the AI-controlled squad of another player in a single round match. The player wins when the whole enemy squad has been killed. The PvP mode features a leaderboard and it's possible to acquire various power-ups.

The game is free-to-play and has a store where the player can buy weapons and items such as grenades, medkits and drones. There are two currencies: credits and war cash. War cash is earned by playing the missions while credits are bought with real money. Weapons are tied to tiers and the player needs to level up to get access to new ones. Leveling up happens once the player has gained enough experience from playing missions. New in this sequel is that weapons can be upgraded in four categories: critical, rate of fire, clip size and reload. Squad mates can also be upgraded by training them.
