Description

DaisyPop presents the player with a screen full of drifting flowers and meandering insects. Tapping a flower or insect pauses the motion; tapped flowers rapidly expand and tapped insects speed forward in a straight line. If an expanding flower or running insect comes in contact with another flower or insect, the chain continues. Different items have different point values, and the total value of a chain is the sum of everything in it multiplied by the chain length.

If a clover — identified with a glitter effect — is included in a chain, then something special happens either immediately (like a swarm of bees) or on the next tap (like double or triple points). Burrs stick in place when touched, so they can be positioned to make longer chains. Stuck-in-place burrs expand just like flowers.

Each item in a chain emits a seed that flies up to the total at the top of the screen. Seeds can be traded for upgrades on the Seed Swap screen. Some upgrades increase point values. Some add new special events to the clover. And some modify the core gameplay, such as a watering can of growth formula that can be used once per game (it increases the size of all flowers on the screen).

DaisyPop is unusual in that there's no time pressure, and patience — waiting for good alignments of flowers — is rewarded.
