The game features new loading screens for all four games.

Halo CE - Halo: Combat Evolved was revamped and is a lot higher of quality graphically, including the screenshots.

Halo CE - The player can easily switch between the old graphics...

Halo CE - ...and the new ones.

Halo CE - Although the graphics have been updated, other gameplay hasn't changed. As such, these Jackals haven't been changed to the another subrace.

Halo CE - Using a Banshee to destroy Flood and Covenant forces.

Halo CE - Just found an active camouflage power up.

Halo 2 - Halo 2 has also been remastered. The cutscenes are completely re-build from the ground up, and are improved in many ways, not just the quality.

Halo 2 - The old cutscenes were great, and those can also be seen by switching to the old graphics, even mid-scene.

Halo 2 - The old Halo 2 graphics were a bit outdated...

Halo 2 - ...but the newer are a lot better.

Halo 2 - The collection includes Forge for Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 maps.

Halo 2 - All Halo 2 and Halo: Combat Evolved multiplayer maps have been reworked on graphics, spawns, etc.

When starting multiplayer, the menu has changed slightly. The background features a new cutscene from Halo 2.

Halo 3 - Halo 3 hasn't been changed much. The cutscenes look a lot like the original ones.

Halo 3 - You can see that the game now plays completely high definition, but the graphics haven't been updated like Halo 1 and 2.

Halo 3 - A wreckage always looks good though :)

Halo 4 - The cutscenes from Halo 4 are completely the same.

Halo 4 - And the game looks beautiful as ever.

Halo 4 - This is the first time a player will encounter Prometheans in the whole series.

Campaigns can also be played through playlists, that may feature levels of all four games in the same playlist.

Halo 4 - All Spartan Ops chapters, including the ones that were downloadable in Halo 4, are part of the collection.

Halo 4 Spartan Ops - Driving the Warthog while my teammates are destroying the enemy units.

In multiplayer, people can vote for several game modes/maps from the four different games. This vote contains a map from Halo 2, 3, and 4.
