Juice Cubes

Juice Cubes is a fruit themed tile based puzzle game where the player is presented with a grid full of fruit (shaped as cubes). The player's task is to remove fruit from the board by connecting adjacent fruits of the same colour. The fruits can be connected both vertically, horizontally and diagonally by drawing a line from fruit to fruit. At least three fruits has to be connected for them to be removed from the board. When four or more fruits are connected a bomb is created. When bombs are then connected to other fruits they explode which leads to a large amount of fruits being destroyed. Bombs can either be connected to fruits of the same colour or to other bombs and they function differently depending on the connections they were part of when created. For example some bombs clear a whole row while others clear a cluster of surrounding fruits.

Most levels have a limited number of moves that the player has to reach the criteria within, although some are time based. Levels have three different criterias: to reach a certain score, to remove all sand tiles or to make all buckets fall to the bottom. Sand tiles are removed by connecting the fruits above them. Some times there are multiple layers of sand and therefore multiple connections will be needed. Buckets will appear at the top of the board and will fall as the player removes the fruits beneath them. When reaching the bottom they will fall off the board.

The game is free-to-play with the option to buy gold bars that can be used to buy boosters, hearts and unlock new levels. Boosters can be activated to make the game easier. Some boosters such as extra moves and pre-set bombs on the board are activated before a level while others like removing individual fruits or swapping adjacent ones are activated during a level. Hearts are needed to play and one is lost for every failed level. When all out of hearts the player has to either wait for them to recharge or acquire new ones. At certain stages new levels has to be unlocked. This can be done by using gold bars, by inviting three friends or by finding three map pieces (which happens automatically after a seven hour wait).
