Welcome to Mario is Missing! Take a trek with your travel agent, Luigi, and see the world! Track down troublesome turtles. Figure out where in the world you are, and what on earth happened to Mario. If your grasp of geography is good enough, you’ll get the goods, stomp the hoods, and grab Mario out of Bowser’s ghastly guest house. A learning adventure that the whole family can share.

This is no Koopa stomping mayhem. It’s a fun way to learn about our world. In the game, you get to:

• Explore exotic cities
• Steer through streets with maps and a compass
• Get clues from friendly people
• Read pamphlets for famous landmarks
• Retrieve fun facts and figures from a computer database
• Identify continents, countries, and cities to enlist Yoshi’s aid
• Take snapshots of your adventures… and rescue Mario!

To solve the adventure, reading is required.

**The adventure begins unexpectedly as Mario steps right into Bowser’s trap.

Navigate streets of unfamiliar cities, discover clues and return lost artifacts.

Once the city is set straight, Luigi snaps the perfect pic for his album of famous landmarks.

Use the Globulator to help Yoshi find Luigi so they can complete their mission and rescue Mario!**

Bowser's Plot

Oh no! Bowser and his bad boys are back to a life of crime. This time, it's not Mario World – it's your world! From his Antarctic castle, Bowser hustles his cold-blooded crew of cantankerous Koopas into his powerful Passcode Operated Remote Transport And Larceny System (PORTALS). The twisted turtles transport themselves throughout the globe, where celebrated cities suffer shell-shocking crime waves, as turtles trash landmarks and loot ancient artifacts. With dough from his smiley sales, Bowser hoards hair dryers from the Hafta-Havit Hotline. His plot? Melt Antarctica and flood the planet! Whoa!

Mario's Fate

Will the brave brothers from Brooklyn permit this abominable snow plan? The boys say "Not!" Mario, Luigi and Yoshi trek across ice and snow to shellac the shelled ones' schemes. But Bowser's slick: in one last trick, he takes the dearest thing of all... Mario is Missing!

Deep within Antarctica, the evil Bowser has kidnapped Mario and plans to flood the planet by melting all the snow on earth. Bowser has the latest in high tech -- the Passcode Operated Remote Transportation And Larceny System (PORTALS). Using the PORTALS, Bowser's lizardly henchmen steal off to famous cities where they commit dastardly deeds.

It's up to you and the "ever-true-to-his-bro" Luigi to travel around the world, rescue national treasures and find the missing clues to save the world from destruction by Bowser. You'll explore exotic locations, chat with friendly (and not-so-friendly natives), collect valuables, outsmart the thieving Koopas, master the Globulator, and then rescue Mario in a surprise ending.

MARIO IS MISSING! has great 2-D and 3-D graphics, a new Mario music soundtrack, lots of help screens and a fold-out map to help you keep track of facts, clues, photos and data.
