Description

Quiz Show is a game show type arcade game by Atari/Kee Games. Players are asked a series of trivia questions from one of four categories: sports, general knowledge, movies, and people. Each category contains 250 questions, adding up to a grand total of 1000 questions in the entire game. Questions are color-coded using a color overlay, and the player presses one of four buttons on their side of the screen, also color coded, to select the corresponding answer. The longer a player takes to answer a question, the lower the amount of points they are rewarded (providing they answer correctly).

The length of the game can be adjusted by the cabinet's owner to be determined either by time or number of questions. The actual questions themselves are not stored on the game's PCB itself, but on 8-track tapes that can be replaced with different tapes obtained from Atari distributors.
