Buzztime Trivia

Buzztime Trivia is a trivia game based on the NTN Buzztime service which broadcasts trivia questions to bars and restaurants. For each round, the player(s) need to choose one of three categories (Entertainment, Sports or Everything) and then answer 15 multiple choice questions (five possible answers) within a time limit. Choosing the correct answer gives points, wrong answers minus points and in the end the player with the most points wins.

There are two playing modes available: Buzztime Trivia and Buzztime Light. The main differences are that in Trivia mode, the question is accompanied with three hints which are revealed over time and that contestants can try again after choosing an incorrect answer (but also risk a higher penalty).
