Pelé: King of Football

Pelé: King of Football is a gesture based football game in the style of the Flick Kick series. Similar to those games it is all about taking shots at goal by making swiping motions across the screen. In addition to hitting the target the player also has to avoid hitting the goalkeeper or any of the defenders that either stand still or move back and forth. In each of the game's levels the player has to take ten shots from different locations at the pitch and is only allowed two misses. On the third miss the level is considered failed and has to be restarted.

Upon completing a level the player earns balls. One ball is earned for just completing the level, another is earned for making every shot and a third one is earned for getting a high score. Levels are divided into stages and to unlock new stages a certain number of balls are needed. Each stage is a different location with the first one being a backlot, the second a junior court, the third a national stadium, the fourth a world stadium and the fifth a beach. It is also possible to earn crowns which can be used in the locker room to acquire new equipment such as clothes, shoes, hair cuts and footballs. Most of these are purely cosmetic but some also have special shots built in. The special shots can also be acquired directly with crowns. These include the fireball that disintegrates the first defender it touches. Crowns can also be bought through in-app purchases. Another thing that can be collected are tickets which allow the player to enter drawings for real world prizes. The game also features videos from Pelé's career than can be unlocked by playing the game.
