Warbirds at Work

Warbirds at Work is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up. The player uses a space ship in order to kill aliens which try to invade the solar system. Said ship is equipped with a number of weapons: a standard gun with unlimited ammo, rockets, an impulse attack and a bomb. The goal of each of the seven levels is to reach the end and fight the boss without dying from too many enemy hits. Besides ammo for the mentioned weapon systems, defeated enemies may also leave behind extra health, shields (protects the ship for a short time when activated), upgrades for the primary gun and a screencleaner. After dying, the game is not instantly lost: the player only loses a life and re-spawns after a few seconds without losing progress, but the weapons are reset.
