Dangerous Dave in the Deserted Pirate's Hideout

Dave is a redneck on a rampage to reclaim his stolen trophies from the town bully, Clyde! This is Dangerous Dave's classic adventure in the Deserted Pirate's Hideout. This action game contains ten difficult levels.

This is a Mario-style platformer with levels that scroll a screen at a time, like Zelda. The goal is for Dave to collect the trophy on a level and get to the door. There are guns sometimes in the levels that let Dave shoot the enemies found within. Hard-to-reach areas can be accessed with the jet pack if you can find one. Various hazards include weird weeds, fire, and water. Dave has three lives before it is Game Over. Each level has hidden secrets that make replaying the game more interesting. There are Warp Zones that let you access unreachable areas of levels for more points.

This is a rewrite of the 1990 DOS version of the game, but with an additional HD (high-definition) mode with new graphics, music (for the first time), sound effect, and story. You can play the 1990 DOS version in this iOS version as well. This version has leaderboards for High Scores and Fast Times for all the levels.
