Wonder Zoo

Wonder Zoo is a simulation about managing a wildlife reserve. The basic gameplay is similar to the Android/iOS version, but it is done by a different developer. Many game elements are not present in this version, such as the different time periods, the animal capturing mechanic driving a jeep, unusual animals such as dinosaurs etc. The premise is also different as this game is only about managing the park, while the other mobile version focuses on bringing back animals that have been escaped due to a poacher, next to the park. Some elements are however unique for this version.

The game starts with an almost empty reserve. Using a mix of two currencies, coins and diamonds, different animals, buildings and decorations can be bought to design a custom park. These then generate an income that needs to be collected to expand the park. Buildings are mix of attractions such as a balloon stand and a gift shop as well as a nursery and a clinic for the animals. Buildings can be freely placed and can still be edited or removed afterwards. Trees are used to grow food for the animals. Different types of quests can be completed to level up and unlock more items for the park. Most of these quests are provided by the visitors. Typical animals include lions, pandas, penguins and zebras. They are bought using coins, but some only become available at a certain level or after completing a specific quest. The second currency, diamonds, is used to receive golden animals that attract more visitors. These can be bred in the nursery.

There are also three types of mini-games that can be played as a type of mission. These are The Parent Top, Two by Two and Animal Dishes. The latter for instance mimics the gameplay of Fruit Ninja. Different types of ingredients need to be slashed in the air in the correct order to complete recipes.
