Description
Namco Museum Vol. 2 is another in Namco's line of classic game collections. It largely consists of the ten games added in the international Battle Collection over the Japanese release of Namco Museum, but also adds some more games. Included are the following classic games:
- King & Balloon
- Bosconian
- Xevious
- Mappy
- The Tower of Druaga
- Grobda
- Dragon Buster
- Dig Dug II
- Motos
- Rolling Thunder
- Dragon Spirit (new to this release)
In addition, there are two "Arrangement" versions with updated graphics and sound and gameplay: Motos and a new version of Pac-Man ("Arrangement Plus").

A great old school Namco classic game
The Good
Ah, the enjoyment of Namco games all in one cart. The Namco Museum Battle Collection was also good, including some arrangement games like Motos Arrangement and Pac-Man Arrangement Plus. It includes one of my favorite games. It included games I like, Xevious, Mappy, Bosconian and so much more. When you select the game start and options, it looks cool that Namco edited the games into different screens, like fullscreened, arrangend (with the game details on the right), cropped (with the up and down cut off), and fitted vertically, showing the lives and score, exception for best quality.
The Bad
What I did not like is that the original games did not work using PPSSPP, an emulator, so I had to use JPCSP on my PC. At least the Arrangement games work perfectly on PPSSPP.
The Bottom Line
I should recommend this game to people who own a PSP for the retro arcade people. Even though it's in Japanese, PSPs are region free, but UMD movies are not.
