Ghana Bwana
Description
Ghana Bwana is an arcade action game with isometric graphics similar to the arcade game Congo Bongo. The game is set on a fictitious African island and is made up of nine levels, some scrolling and some fixed, with the objective of the seven first being to collect all the pieces of a treasure map. The levels are timed and all pieces have to be collected before the time runs out.
In the first level the player is seated in a canoe going down a river while later levels are on foot. The levels on foot allow the player to jump which is necessary in the non-scrolling levels for leaping between islands without landing in water. There are some perils to watch out for like moving objects and natives called guardians that throw spears. Some items can be picked up including a bow for shooting the guardians and a golden key which can be used to open a treasure chest which gives an extra life. In the eight level the aim is to get to a balloon and escape while in the final level the balloon is shot down and the player returns to the first scene and begins a new round of the game.
