Choosing a faction. Each faction (Klingon or Federation) have six avatars (three men and three women).

Your base provides you with resources and research and allows you to build and repair ships.

Equipping your ship with the best weapons, captains and devices.

Skills can change the tide of battles.

You can train and reform (i.e. raise the level cap) your captains. A good captain on a flagship can increase your power dramatically.

Fluidic system. This is where the fluidic space planatoid bodies are located.

Fluidic sectors contain several fluidic systems which are guarded by local lifeforms or your enemy faction.

Fluidic realm is the overall area where you operate and it contains many fluidic sectors. The further you go from your home sector the harder the battles.

Ships shoot each other automatically, but you get to decide which ability to use and when.

After each battle you receive random rewards.

Premium currency can be found without paying, but it is very hard to obtain in useful amounts.
