A MOUNTAIN OF ADVENTURE

High in the Arctic wilderness is the biggest refrigerator in the world--a mountain stashed with bushels of vegetables. You want to climb the mountain. But the Arctic creatures think you want their salad! And they'll do everything to keep you off their mountain.

GAME PLAY: It's only you and an ice hammer as you make your way to the top of the mountain--through eight levels of treacherous Arctic ice. Break the ice blocks of the floor above, make a gap, then jump through to the next level. Or mount a moving cloud. But you must be quick and smart. Bothersome Toppies will fill in the holes in the ice floors faster than you can make them. Menacing Nitpickers will hover above you, trying to knock you off the mountain. And huge Polar Bears will cause avalanches that could be fatal. Will you make it to the top?

A MOUNTAIN OF ADVENTURE

A formidable mountain of ice stands between you and the summit. Worse yet, a formidable host of arctic creatures think you are trying to steal their vegetables and will do anything to prevent you from reaching the peak. Reach the bonus round at the top of each mountain by breaking holes in the ice above with your hammer and knocking enemies off the mountain with your hammer. From level to level, mountain to mountain, Ice Climber is peak to peak fun.

It's video game software on cards! Plug the e-Reader accessory from Nintendo into a Game Boy Advance system, scan the cards through the e-Reader and get ready to play! Both are required in order to scan data on e-Reader cards. Many e-Reader card series are available, and more on the way!

Ice Climber's Popo and Nana have always been pioneers: both in mountain-climbing exploration and NES gameplay. After 20 years, the duo return to scale the heights and bonk ornery seals and vegetable-stealing condors on the head (shhhh, don't tell PETA) as part of the NES Classic Series for Game Boy Advance.

If Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Nintendo GameCube has been your only exposure to the parka-clad pair, check out this sharp rendition of the original NES game. As Popo (player two plays as Nana), use your trusty mallet to work your way up the mountain. Chip away at the blocks overhead, then jump up through the resulting hole to the mountain's next level. Once Popo reaches the top level, he enters a fast-moving bonus stage in which he can pick up veggies and, hopefully, reach the summit for a big-point payday.

Of course, not everyone's supportive of Popo's pastime. Mountain-men fill Popo's holes, so jump through the gaps quickly. It's easy to slip off some of the icy levels. Polar bears, seals and other ferocious fauna want to pooh-pooh Popo's quest. Do away with these pesky animals by giving them a swift strike with the mallet. Hey, nothing should stand in the way of you and your veggies. Mom would be proud.

With the addition of a second Game Pak and a Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, you and a friend can climb a mountain, together. After all, Popo shouldn't have to go it alone.
