The Walking Dead: Zombie Hunter

The Walking Dead: Zombie Hunter is a rail shooter based on the television series. The game is built into a light gun shoot gun which is used to aim at and shoot zombies from a first-person perspective. Like in other rail shooters movement is automatic and the player simply has to shoot the zombies as they appear. Like in the series and the comic book, head shots are required to kill the zombies and sometimes multiple hits are required. Civilians will also appear and these can be saved by shooting the zombies that surround them. It's import to avoid hitting the civilians since it leads to points being lost. Shooting crates will reveal different items such as health packs, new weapons and ammunition and these are collected when shot. There are also barrels which will blow up when shot.

The game contains a story mode, a horde mode and a free play mode. The story mode has three acts with a number of scenes in each. Each scene has a primary objective that usually involves reaching a location and a bonus objective, for instance getting a number of head shots in a row. The horde mode simply involve surviving as long as possible against an endless amount of zombies. Free play mode allows the player to replay the scenes without having to play through the whole story mode. The game also contains a two player mode where zombies can take multiple hits and the aim is to get the final shot on a zombie.
