Soda Dungeon
Description official description
Treasure and glory awaits all brave enough to challenge the dungeon of monsters! Not for you, however, as you are too weak and cowardly to face the dungeon yourself. You do have two things on your side, however: You're smart enough not to throw your life away for glittering prizes, and you know where to find people who aren't that smart.
Each attempt of the dungeon starts with the player rounding up a group of adventurers at the tavern to toss headfirst into danger. More skilled adventurers are more expensive to hire, and if there is absolutely no alternative the local drunks can always be convinced to fight for free. The player then equips the party with any armor and weapons they have, and then sends them on their way.
Inside the dungeon the party will fight groups of monsters in sequence. First their party will attack, then the monster party will counter attack. Some equipment and adventurer classes will have access to extra abilities, like healing and wide-area attacks. While moving through the dungeon there is a chance of arriving at a crossroads, giving the player a choice of doors that may lead to traps or extra treasure. After five normal fights the party will face a stronger mid boss, and after five more fights the party must defeat a stronger yet boss monster. After the boss monster the party receives one guaranteed chest with better than average treasure.
When a party member inevitably falls in combat they flee from the dungeon, dropping everything they've gathered along the way. Once the full party is wiped out the player can return to the tavern with their profits. By upgrading the tavern more, and more competent, adventurers will be attracted, and the selection of adventurers will be random each time. In addition to the dungeon the player can also hire a group of adventurers to challenge the arena, which has a set reward if the party can survive 10 fights.
As with most idle games once the game has been completed it can be restarted to acquire stat bonuses as well as access to a difficult bonus dungeon. Restart bonuses and tavern upgrades can also be purchased with RMT if the player chooses to.
