1001 Video Games

The Game Boy Advance version of WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames! appears in the book 1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die by General Editor Tony Mott.

Chiritorie

The unlockable 2 player game Chiritorie is inspired by an Nintendo product released only in Japan in 1979. The Chiritorie was a small remote controlled vacuum.

Laptop

For historical reference: Wario's laptop is apparently a Sony VAIO notebook, with Wario's own style added to it, and its logo (on game's title screen) says "WARIO" in imitation of VAIO's logo.The operating system is apparently Microsoft Windows XP - though, likewise, it's obviously not exactly a stock OEM version.

Version differences

In the original Japanese version, in one of the microgames where you try to catch the fruit, the item that wasn't fruit was...poo. This has been censored out of the U.S. version. Interestingly enough, at the end of "Wario's Adventure" the treasure is still poo. Interesting!
