Carling Pub Quiz

Carling Pub Quiz is a general knowledge quiz game that supports up to four people playing on the pc, or alternatively quiz sheets can be printed out so that the quiz can be shared with a wider audience. It is one of a set of three quizzes in all that make up the entire Carling Quiz Master collection the others being Carling Football Quiz and Carling Sports Quiz.

Quiz questions can optionally be timed and questions can be asked on a 'cyclical' mode, buzzer mode or a combination of the two In cyclic mode question one goes to player one and only player one can answer, question two goes to player two and so on. In 'buzzer' mode each player has their own action key, by default player one uses numeric key '1'; player two uses number '4'; player three uses key '7'; and player four uses the '0' key but these can be altered. All answers are typed and the game makes an attempt to allow partial answers so, for example, if the answer was 'Orson Welles' it would ask if 'Welles' was an acceptable answer but would reject 'Wells'.
Player's relative scores are shown by slowly rising pints of Carling. Results are only shown when a quiz has been completed.
