Abandonia
Long story short, The Savage Empire is a solid old-school RPG in the Ultima tradition, providing a nice change of pace from the pseudo-medieval fantasy typical of the genre while not straying too far from the conventions that made them so appealing in the first place. Definitely worth giving a shot and maybe a semi-permanent place on your hard drive.

Man nehme Ultima VI, überziehe das Ganze mit einem dichten Dschungel, werfe ein paar Saurier dazu, mache aus Fantasy-Magie einen Shamanen-Zauber und fertig ist "Savage Empire". Man könnte nun Hersteller Origin leicht vorwerfen, mit dem Namen "Ultima" noch mal eine schnelle Mark machen zu wollen. Allerdings präsentiert sich Savage Empire als gelungene Abwechslung zur Originalserie - das Szenario ist faszinierend und geheimnisvoll, die Benutzerführung gelungen und die Grafik ein Gedicht. Ultima-Fans werden es lieben. Spieler, die mit Ultima noch nichts am Hut hatten, werden sich schwertun.
