Description
The Badlands cluster, a century
after the first Independence War. You are the son of Felix, a miner who was killed by Caleb Maas (owner of the Maas corporation) for not paying a debt. With the help of a long-dead man's mind trapped inside a computer, you have a chance of revenge. With your own base full of space for cargo, and your grandmother's ship, you start an adventure which will change your life... forever.
There are 16 star systems, and you get to fly 4 ships. Whilst in the first game your job was largely restricted to shooting things, here you can also trade with people or steal their goods. Ships are large and require precise control.
This sequel's user interface has been redesigned from the original, with the aim of simplifying the controls, and has a new graphics engine. There is online multiplayer support for up to 8 people (Deathmatch, Team-Deathmatch, Capture the Flag and The Bomb), realistic physics and many more changes.
