Kogent Knight

The hero of Kogent Knight has his first day as a knight in an unknown kingdom. On his way to a meeting with the queen he witnesses that the princess is being kidnapped. Overlooking the sign that warns of monsters he decides to rescue her.

Kogent Knight is a platform game in which the player has to fight against different kinds of enemies in order to reach the exit of each level. Using the arrow keys results in moving the character and by pressing A, S and D the player can use two different attacks and a block with a shield. Spacebar lets the knight jump.

Each level is started with 10 life points. Everytime an enemy hits the knight the player loses a life point. The game is over when there are no points left. By picking up little hearts which are in most cases hidden in barrels or crates energy can be regained. In some levels there are chests. After having opened it a mini-game appears in which the player has to move the mouse pointer through a maze without touching the walls. The reward is life energy, too.

Every use of an attack mode results in losing stamina. If the stamina level is too low, the knight has to rest for a few seconds and is completely vulnerable in this time. The stamina regenerates on its own. Furthermore, for every killed enemy the player gains money. This money can be spend in shops which are located next to the exit of a level. Each shop offers the same goods: three different weapons.
