Muertitos

Muertitos is a match-three puzzle game with art inspired by Mexican culture. The game is played on a 4x4 board and the goal is to create as many matches as possible and have a high score until the board is full with no more moves possible. At the start of the game the board is empty and there are sixteen pieces surrounding the board. By tapping a piece it is pushed onto the board and a new one appears at the empty space. A match is created by lining up three identical pieces horizontally or vertically, removing them. Larger matches are also possible, through longer lines or with different shapes.

Pieces that are pushed onto the board also push other pieces if there is room. Each game starts with a small number of different pieces and then the amount of variations gradually increases with each level cleared. Other game elements are pots that are broken when tapped, clayfaces that transform into a random piece and wildcards that match with any piece. Every now and then three bonuses can be picked from a hidden selection, adding them to the four corners of the board. This introduces for instance new pieces that can be dragged onto the board to remove one.

Next to the Mexican Muertitos skin, the game can also be played with the Halloweenies (Halloween) and Creepsmas (Christmas) skins.
