Commando Xenidis

It's 2525 a.d. Mankind has spread its wings into Xenidis, a galaxy filled with valuable raw materials. After terraforming and colonizing the local planets, aliens arrive and destroy the human outpost. Now it's Commando Xenidis' job to reconquer Xenidis and defend Earth. You're their best man...

Commando Xenidis is a shareware shoot 'em up game like Raptor or Flying Tigers. After selecting a planet you have to clear the orbit of each planet by shooting everything that comes into the sight of your spaceship. It's not necessary to destroy everything (the game says it's more important to stay alive) but some enemy ships leave goodies that enrich your purse and of course you get points for it. With the money you can upgrade your ship or buy better weapons.

After defeating a boss enemy at the end of each space mission, you beam to the planet and discover the difference between Commando Xenidis and its paragons. Now you are a single soldier who have to kill every enemy and destroy all alien facilities.

If you are bored playing alone, you can invite up to four people to play with you at the same time on the same screen.
